The Mathematics Division a venue for research in mathematics and mathematical physics. 

Within the division, researchers specializing in mathematics and mathematical physics work alongside postdoctoral researchers and students.

Researchers within the division are engaged in partnerships with both international and national groups, presenting their research outcomes through lectures, conferences, and articles in books and peer-reviewed journals.

A seminar in mathematics has been organized by the division since 1975. In the seminars, employees, students and researchers present their research or other innovations in mathematics and mathematical physics.
